Winning the hackathon with an MVP that delivered immediate ROI
How our team went from a time-consuming problem to a working MVP in a week, with a pitch grounded in facts and a demo that made the value clear.
My team and I won the hackathon! 🏆
It kicked off last week with a real, time-consuming problem and a short window to do something about it. Our team focused on building a working MVP and making its value measurable from the start.
That focus shaped our pitch, too. We told a story through numbers and facts, grounded in a problem people recognized from their own work. The demo brought it home: an MVP that delivered immediate ROI, with insanely low costs.
I’m proud of this team. Getting from that first problem to a working demo in a week took a lot of effort, and seeing it come together in front of the judges felt incredible.
Huge kudos to the other teams who built and presented alongside us. Putting your ideas out there under that kind of time pressure deserves recognition.
And a special thank you to Rob, Beth, Tam Nguyen, and Sarah Tursi for your support throughout the experience. So glad we got to share this win with you.
